One out of every
five Americans has some form of cardiovascular disease. Of these 60,800,000
patients, most are eligible to participate in cardiac rehabilitation,
but never receive it.
The U.S. Dept. of
Health and Human Services' Agency for Health Care Policy and Research
recommended; "Alternate approaches to the delivery of cardiac rehabilitation
services, other than traditional supervised group interventions, can
be implemented effectively and safely for carefully selected clinically
stable patients."
With these guidelines
in mind, CardioPhysics has developed The HEART Program. This innovative
treatment program is for the millions of Americans in need of cardiac
rehabilitation but for various reasons are unable to attend a conventional
rehabilitation center.
